A few new details on Final Fantasy 13 have been revealed in the Japanese magazine, Gemaga (formally known as Dorimaga).
The scenario, developers say, is at about 80 percent complete.
If you look at the female character’s left shoulder, there are two yellow markings on her clothing/armour, these actually stand for a type of rank and a social status.
When a player is exploring a city, the usual conversations with non-player characters will be possible.
Vehicles will be present in Final Fantasy 13.
A quite surprising new detail was next revealed, the female character who has been seen in almost everything to do with Final Fantasy 13 so far, is in fact not the main character. However, the developers say she is strong and independent, and that she will have a prominent role in Final Fantasy 13.

What the other two titles could be in Fabula Nova Crytallis is currently unknown…
Although Square have said they should be revealed in the next upcoming months.

In the latest issue of the Japanese Famitsu magazine, there is a couple of new images that have been revealed, for Final Fantasy Versus 13 and Final Fantasy Agito 13.
Not much is new really in these scans, although some images of Final Fantasy Versus 13 in these scans are definitely an improvement in quality than the first lot of scans for Versus.
Final Fantasy Versus 13 Scans
The two Final Fantasy Versus 13 magazine scans show a selection of images all possibly from the E3 2006 trailer, the new image here is of the male protagonist, shown in the first scan.

Final Fantasy Agito 13 Scan
The Final Fantasy Agito 13 scan shows the prevously revealed Magic School artwork, there’s also a brand new artwork, showing some kind of ruin with glowing red creatures flying around it.

The latest issue of the Japanese Famitsu magazine included an interview with the development staff of Final Fantasy 13. In this interview a few new details on the game’s crystal concept and the battle system were revealed.
The director of Final Fantasy 13, Motome Torishima, explained that the concept is based on Crystals that lead the world towards the future. In the world, these Crystals will take on the form of every day objects such as, individual pillars and signposts. All of these objects will have some kind of meaning behind them.
The Final Fantasy 13 series producer, Yoshinori Kitase, added that the crystal-based mythology won’t necessarily be the centerpiece of the storyline. For example, it will be reflected in the designs that are used.
Yoshinori Kitase then went on to speak a little on the battle system. The ATB (Active Time Battle) system will make an appearance, although it is to be sped up over previous entries in the series. The Final Fantasy 13 battle system will also have things that involve time and 3D space.
