Square Enix have opened up a Jump Festa 2006 web page for the Fabula Nova Crystallis. There’s not much that’s new to look at currently, apart from a very nice image of the blond haired character in Final Fantasy Agito 13, same image as before but in much better quality!

The PlayStation 3 has now been released in Japan and with it a TV spot which features Final Fantasy 13. The 14 second commercial shows a little footage from the E3 2006 trailer.

In the Dengeki PlayStation interview the director of Final Fantasy Versus 13, Tetsuya Nomura, revealed a number of new details about the PlayStation 3 title.
The male character is the heir to the throne and his country, which has recently come under attack, has the last crystal in the world.
When the male character wields his sword, his eyes turn red.
The gameplay battle scenes will be reminiscent of those that are in Final Fantasy VII Advent Children!
Final Fantasy Versus 13 will also have a heroine character.
Also in the interview the director of Final Fantasy 13, Motomu Toriyama, hinted about a new trailer that will feature new characters!

The director of Final Fantasy 13, Motomu Toriyama, has said that he will give us new images before the end of this year. This could happen during the Jump Festa, which takes place on the 16th and the 17th of December.

In a one time publication of the Dengeki PS3 magazine, from the Dengeki magazine for the PlayStation 3 launch in Japan, there are interviews with the directors of both Final Fantasy 13 and Final Fantasy Versus 13. Motomu Toriyama and Tetsuya Nomura.
In the interview there is talk about the differences between Final Fantasy 13 from the PlayStation 2 to the PlayStation 3. As for the White Engine, it will be used for other titles as well as Final Fantasy 13. There will be many different versions of the White Engine to suit each of these other titles.
