Mini new Final Fantasy 13 update
At the Tokyo PlayStation Premiere press conference, held by Sony, low completion percentages for two of the Fabula Nova Crystallis titles were released. Some of you may remember these to have already been announced way before now…
Final Fantasy 13 is at 13% complete and Final Fantasy Versus 13 stands at 1.3%.
On a little better news though, there were two “new” images revealed. One of Final Fantasy 13 and the other for Final Fantasy Versus 13. Both of them look strangely familiar…but they are both in great high-quality!

wth? they said like 5 months ago the same percentages???
It’s obviously a joke. I read a while ago that FF XIII was at 80%. Plus it’s been in development since 05. And no developer will give completion percentages to a tenth. It’s a cruel joke on Square Enix’s part.

that was the storyline back then…
Calm down! It will be here in 2008 thats fix!
haha who says that’s true?
we think it’s going to be there in 2008, but that is now probably going to be end 2008…
en versus probably even end 2009….
just wanted to say something in general about final fantasy. i don’t like the direction that square-enix has gone. all the real time action and yet they still call it an rpg? just doesn’t make sense to me. i love the amazing grapics that the new systems are bringing to the table for square-enix to take advantage of. but why did they have to go away from traditional turn based action? this is the reason i havn’t gotten a copy of final fantasy XII. the best square-enix has ever done is final fantasy VII. this rpg is where my heart will always lie when it comes to final fantasy as with this game pretty much everything was done right. especially the story. they’ll never top that story. but all the new changes they’ve made recentlly makes me wonder if true rpg’s are a thing of the past. i hope that if square-enix ever decides to remake VII that they use the same exact systems or at least a very updated version of the same thing. just take what was already there improve the grapics, detailing, amount of content, and maybe add voice acting with the same voice actors from advent children. but as far as XIII and all it’s different versions or whatever. if they come out completely real time… i’ll probably pass them up. to me when you make a game with real time battling it ceases to be an rpg and it becomes an adventure game. kinda like the zelda games. a few of those games were ok but they will never top the final fantasy franchise. unless final fantasy goes completely away from rpg type gameplay. then it could easilly catch up with this series. or would it be better to say final fantasy would fall behind? oh well. i guess i’ve said my peace. thank you.
