He does whine and complain. (Kinda like Anakin Skywalker from Starwars I - III) He hasn't stopped whining (and I haven't beat the game yet) for me and his stats are just terrible. Just leave him out of your party and you'll be okay. Hope has got to be the worst character in the game.

Either way, I doubt he'll be in my party. Seems to be the first character in this game I'm not thrilled with, but I'll hold judgment until it actually comes out.
