Like previous Final Fantasies, Final Fantasy 13 will also have Summons. It’s been said that the summons have changed greatly. So far, one summon has been revealed.

Shiva will take the form of a sister pair. Both sisters are made up of bike parts and can transform into a bike. It may be possible that this bike can used to ride on both in battle and outside of battle as transportation. Shiva will be able to support more than one magic element.
(The bike that the blond male character rides in the Jump Festa trailer is actually the transformed version of Shiva.) |
I was watching the E3 Trailers on Xbox 360 Dashboard, and i seen a devil-like monster firing fire-balls, my first guess is that it’s the summon we all know and love; Ifrit, let’s hope :).
summons ;ook stupid. its doing that ame shit from 12 where your party disappears and this good for nothing thing pops up and pushes them out of the way. Snow looked like an ido riding a bike on t6he battle field. and that knight thing that Lightening summoned look way too much like those awful Espers.

anyway, coming back to the game, I really believe this game is gonna put an before-after line. I would kill to see Ark getting into the battle and rescue me from a inevitable death, lol, and you take off the Ark Ship, away from danger and fiends…
just sth I thought…:P, then the point is the game will be very very crazy.
or Omega using his chains to help to cross from a cliff to the side..
or Ruby getting into a hole to active a far-away button. and a door will open for us…cool, or to much zelda involved?…..
now with….alexander….like a moving house for us……

Well the Shiva a bike thing.. well thats kind of odd, they wanted to change things up and looks like they sure did. I will say that in Final Fantasy VIII I loved Shiva and it will take some getting use too for her to have a sister and become a bike in the end I still take a wait and see attitude, and with that said…. being able to use a summon as transportation.. I have to say sounds fairly cool and quite handy.

yo to answer your question. yes odin is in the game. each character ends up having one summon who is supposed to help them fulfill there task, which is chosen by the fal’cie. odin is lightnings summon.

I think I heard somewhere that each one of the summons can turn into a vehicle or weapon or some kind of useful device outside of battle summon command. DON’T quote me on it! but I think its a very interesting Idea, I mean, who wouldn’t want a giant walking castle known as alexander to move from place to place.

thats not shiva tho shes one of the sisters that turn into a motorbike that snow rides for the mount transformation that all summons can do. the one with the black face is styria the older sister and the white face one is nix the younger sister. they were previously call shiva because they are related to her through the shonen jump company that made them.
